Non-Exempt Job Summary The Cinematic Arts Equipment Attendant will be responsible for checking in and checking out approved cinema gear for cinematic arts student projects. Essential Duties Responsible for checking in and checking out approved cinema gear for cinematic arts student projects Inspect returned equipment for damage, perform basic technical troubleshooting, and report items needing repair Maintain proper records of equipment check out and check in and record maintenance issues as needed Required Qualifications MoWest Student Degree Seeking At least an overall 2.0 GPA Enrolled at least part-time Be familiar with audio/visual (A/V) components, and film equipment Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment cases (often up to 50 pounds) Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities An interest in Cinema and the desire to learn Problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills

Physical Demands Medium Work:

Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Location where duties are to be performed Potter Cinema Cage Federal Work Study Not Required Hours of Work Anticipate 4 hour per week. Hours will vary.
