Position Details:
Part-time position Flexible schedule based on class and event times Lead track out camps during the year (availability between 8 am and 2 pm)
Responsibilities Include:
Preparing for classes (tracing canvases, setting up tables and materials) Teaching art classes in a lively, fun, and engaging way Cleaning up after events (washing brushes, resetting studio space) Traveling to offsite locations for "On-Wheels" events, including transporting materials, setting up, teaching, and tearing down
Additional Opportunities May Include:
Hosting "Parents Night Out" art classes for kids Staffing outside events like farmers markets and community festivals
Ideal Candidate Will Be:
Outgoing and enthusiastic with excellent communication skills Passionate about art and helping others express their creativity Comfortable speaking in front of groups and leading hands-on activities Reliable and organized, with good attention to detail Able to travel to local offsite events (reliable transportation required) Experienced in painting or crafting (resin art, fiber arts, etc. a plus!) Prior teaching experience is helpful but not required CPR certification and experience with kid's day camps is a plus!
