Responsibilities Prepare surfaces meticulously, including sanding, cleaning, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply paints, stains, finishes, and decorative techniques with precision using brushes, rollers, spray guns, or other tools Collaborate with clients and project managers to understand design specifications and desired outcomes Execute custom art projects such as murals, faux finishes, or hand-drawn illustrations that align with project themes Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times Select appropriate materials and techniques based on project requirements and environmental conditions Document progress through photographs or sketches for client updates and portfolio development Experience Proven experience in professional painting or visual arts painting with a strong portfolio demonstrating diverse techniques and styles Knowledge of color theory, typography for media, and visual storytelling to enhance artistic projects Experience with hand-drawn illustrations or graphic design illustration that complements painting projects Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment Background in interior design, production design, or related visual arts disciplines is a plus
