The Artist in Residence will be provided with a dedicated studio space for the duration of the academic year, and a solo exhibition in the campus gallery. The position is voluntary, with the Artist in Residence providing a small number of workshops and open studio hours in exchange for studio space and access to facilities. Provided by Daemen University Daemen University will provide the Artist in Residence with the following: A studio space for the artist's use from 9/1/26 - 7/31/27. The artist will have access to their studio space 7 days a week (according to opening hours of the building) and will be able to come and go according to their own schedule. Access to facilities such as custom frame building equipment and computer labs. A solo exhibition in the campus gallery. Provided by the Artist The artist will provide the following: Four individual workshops for students. The artist has the freedom to choose the subject of the workshops and to design them as they wish, in agreement with the faculty. A talk on their exhibited work followed by a Q&A session. The Artist in Residence will keep regular, weekly, open-studio hours, not exceeding 4 hours per week. This is time in which they will be working in their studio space and students are free to visit.
