Santa Portrayal Artist - Seasonal Holiday Events The Pure Imagination Party Company Austin, TX Job Details Temporary | Part-time | Seasonal $50 - $75 an hour 20 hours ago Qualifications Personal service experience with children No experience needed Experience working with children Private event performances Youth organization childcare experience Full Job Description Job Summary The Pure Imagination Santa Co. is seeking warm, reliable, engaging individuals to portray Santa Claus at private parties, corporate events, community celebrations, and other holiday events throughout the 2026 season. We are looking for both experienced Santa portrayal artists and individuals who are completely new to Santa portrayal . Prior Santa experience is not required. You do not need to have a real beard. Qualified candidates without a natural Santa beard can be professionally fitted with a high-quality Santa suit, wig, and theatrical beard provided by our company. What We're Looking For Candidates should: Be personable, warm, and comfortable interacting with children and families Be reliable, punctual, and professional Have strong weekend availability throughout December , with additional weekday availability preferred Be willing to travel approximately 40 miles or more from home for events Have reliable transportation Communicate proactively about availability, conflicts, and schedule changes throughout the season Be comfortable performing multiple events in one day when scheduling allows Be able to stay in character and create a believable, memorable Santa experience Actors, improvisers, teachers, retirees, entertainers, and individuals with experience working with children are strongly encouraged to apply. Schedule This is seasonal event-based work primarily from late November through December. The greatest demand is on December weekends , with additional opportunities available on weekdays and around Christmas Eve.
