Job Overview Studio Associate / Creative Studio Team Member Job Summary The Studio Associate is responsible for creating a fun, welcoming, and organized environment for guests while ensuring the studio operates smoothly. This role includes providing excellent customer service, assisting guests with creative projects, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, processing transactions, and following all studio procedures. Responsibilities Greet every guest with a friendly, positive attitude. Explain studio projects, pricing, and creative processes. Assist customers with pottery painting, candle making, slime, mosaics, canvas painting, succulent gardens, and other studio activities. Set up and clean project stations before, during, and after use. Keep the studio clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout each shift. Process customer purchases and accurately complete sales records. Label and organize customer projects for pickup. Follow kiln, glazing, and studio safety procedures. Restock paints, brushes, supplies, and packaging materials. Answer phone calls, respond to customer questions, and assist with reservations. Help prepare for birthday parties, private events, workshops, and special events. Assist with inventory counts and notify management when supplies are running low. Promote studio memberships, events, gift cards, and upcoming workshops. Complete opening and closing checklists. Perform additional duties assigned by management. Qualifications Friendly, outgoing, and dependable. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Positive attitude with a willingness to learn. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 30 pounds. Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Previous retail, hospitality, or art experience is preferred but not required. Expectations Arrive on time and ready to work. Maintain a clean and professional appearance. Follow all studio policies and procedures. Treat customers, coworkers, and studio property with respect. Use downtime to clean, organize, restock, or complete assigned tasks without waiting to be asked. Help create a fun, creative, and welcoming experience for every guest. Pay:
$7.25 - $10.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 25.0 per week
