Job Description
-Permanent Jewelry Artist- BOHO GEM Jewelry Bar is hiring! I'm looking for a reliable, friendly, energetic person to help me at an upcoming Heart of Texas Fair & Rodeo near Waco, TX and other weekend events running Friday through Sunday. Washington County fair Brenham, Texas 25% commission on total sales plus hotel covered.•Must have reliable transportation, and set up will just be one table plus small portable folding desk with 2 chairs. This is a fun, fast-paced event environment and a great opportunity for someone who enjoys jewelry, fashion, and working with people! we will usually be there for set up and breakdown, but for some future shows our artist must operate independently. {Must be able to set up and break down a 6 foot table, 4 foot table, & folding desk when necessary. One hour paid for set up. 30 minutes pay for breakdown outside of vendor hours.} Pay 25% commission on gross sales. or $15/hour + commission + tips Earn additional commission based on daily sales: 5% on sales over $900 7% on sales over $1,800 8% on sales over $2,900 10% on sales over $4,000 What You'll Do Greet and assist customers Help with permanent jewelry appointments Help manage the booth and customer line Package jewelry and restock supplies Keep the booth clean and organized Help with setup and breakdown Assist with customer service and sales Set up and breakdown a 6 foot table with simple jewelry, display, and folding desk with two chairs. Permanent jewelry experience is a plus, but not required! I can train the right person. Requirements Reliable and dependable Friendly and comfortable talking with customers Able to stand/sit for several hours Available for weekend work Honest and trustworthy Reliable transportation Sales or retail experience is a plus
