Job Description

Overview We are seeking an experienced & skilled Audio Visual/Security Technician to join our team.
Experience preferred:
Prewire & Data Cabling, Audio/Video (Speaker/TV/Amplifier Installation), Security/Surveillance & Networking with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain various AV systems. This role is critical in ensuring that all audio-visual equipment operates smoothly for every day use, events, presentations, and installations. Experience in Security & Surveillance as well as installing manual and motorized screens and shades is a plus. Duties Set up, operate, and maintain equipment Troubleshoot software and hardware issues Perform cabling tasks to ensure proper connections and signal integrity. Utilize hand tools and voltmeters for installation and maintenance of equipment. Conduct field service visits to diagnose and resolve technical problems on-site. Collaborate with both customers/sales team to understand specific needs for each job. Maintain track of inventory used equipment and supplies, ensuring all tools are in good working condition. Keep van, warehouse and job sites clean and tidy, organized and presentable. Adhere to safety protocols while working with low voltage systems. Keep track of both work time and time on job site and providing detailed notes for each job to assist in overall Project Management and work time tracking. Experience Proven experience in audio visual technology or a related field is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with hand tools effectively. Familiarity with computer hardware and software troubleshooting is essential. Knowledge of low voltage systems and cabling techniques Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in fast-paced environments. As we work on a lot of projects both close to our home office in Jonesboro, AR and projects out of the city and state, travel will be required from time to time. The role must fit a technician who is flexible with a schedule that may require travel and occasionally hours outside of a typical Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM standard schedule when necessary for job completion. Pay:
$18.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
