Sets up wiring and cables as needed for an equipment system, which may include microphones, speakers, sound mixing and recording equipment and video equipment; may also work with specialized lighting equipment.

Job Description
Custom Sight & Sound specializes in custom audio-visual installations and is looking to fill the position of Audio-Visual Technician. Qualified candidates will have prior job-related experience and ideally meet most if not all of the requirements of the position. At Custom Sight & Sound, we pride ourselves on being the best and providing our customers with high quality home entertainment products and services. As a representative of Custom Sight & Sound, technicians must be courteous and respectful. The ability to work independently as well as with a team is a must. Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:
- An understanding of A/V equipment and functionality as well as networking (Control 4 experience a plus)
- A physical ability to pull wires through new construction as well as remodel homes
- TV mounting
- Cutting in speakers in walls and ceilings
- Install & configure cameras, automated shades, and lighting control
- Rack assembly and connections including documentation and programing
- Ability and confidence to ascend/descend ladders and scaffolding to access and install equipment at various heights Some skills that will be beneficial to your success with us are:
