Job Description

Custom Sight & Sound specializes in custom audio-visual installations and is looking to fill the position of Audio-Visual Technician. Qualified candidates will have prior job-related experience and ideally meet most if not all of the requirements of the position. At Custom Sight & Sound, we pride ourselves on being the best and providing our customers with high quality home entertainment products and services. As a representative of Custom Sight & Sound, technicians must be courteous and respectful. The ability to work independently as well as with a team is a must. Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:
  • An understanding of A/V equipment and functionality as well as networking (Control 4 experience a plus)
  • A physical ability to pull wires through new construction as well as remodel homes
  • TV mounting
  • Cutting in speakers in walls and ceilings
  • Install & configure cameras, automated shades, and lighting control
  • Rack assembly and connections including documentation and programing
  • Ability and confidence to ascend/descend ladders and scaffolding to access and install equipment at various heights Some skills that will be beneficial to your success with us are:

  • Adaptability A valid driver's license and impeccable driving record are a requirement of this position as a company vehicle will be used to commute to job sites.
