Overview Start a career as an A/V Technician. We are hiring for an entry level position that will be part of a team. This person will be assisting a Lead technician in installation and setup of Audio-Visual systems on project sites, including running infrastructure cabling, hanging TVs, installing speakers, terminating cables, and building racks. We currently have a position in our Commercial Division that will start your AV growth path. Ideal candidate will have at least a minimal knowledge of A/V and a willingness to learn. Responsibilities Audio Video Equipment Installation Reading line drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately install AV equipment Installing and managing retro cable and low voltage wiring Follow detailed instructions from Lead and/or Project Manager Observing and practicing all safety procedures and standards Ability to use hand and power tools to assemble, mount, and secure AV components Assisting with daily procedures and paperwork Requirements Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to use hand and power tools Familiar with mobile computing Ability to read schematics, technical diagrams, and electrical drawings accurately. Highly detailed, organized, and mult-task driven Must be able to be on a ladder for extended periods of time Willingness to learn and follow directions Will need tools
