Residential Control4 Technician Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Control4 Residential Audio/Video and Home Automation Technician to install, program, service, and troubleshoot technology systems The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, professional, responsive, and committed to clean workmanship and excellent customer service. Experience with audio/video systems and Control4 programming is essential. Responsibilities Install, program, service, and troubleshoot Control4 home automation systems. Install residential audio/video, security, surveillance, networking, motorized shades, and home theater systems. Mount and configure televisions, speakers, cameras, network equipment, control devices, and related hardware. Pull, terminate, label, test, and troubleshoot low-voltage wiring. Install and organize equipment racks and structured wiring systems. Read plans, wiring diagrams, scopes of work, and installation documentation. Diagnose system, equipment, wiring, programming, and network issues. Demonstrate completed systems and explain their operation to customers. Protect customers' homes and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Communicate job progress, delays, material needs, and unexpected conditions to management. Accurately document completed work, equipment used, and required follow-up. Maintain company tools, vehicles, equipment, and inventory. Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects correctly the first time. Qualifications Experience programming and troubleshooting Control4 systems is required. Experience installing and servicing residential audio/video and home automation systems. Working knowledge of distributed audio/video, televisions, speakers, amplifiers, receivers, cameras, networks, and control systems. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Professional communication and customer-service skills. Strong attention to detail and pride in clean workmanship. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Ability to safely use ladders, hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment. Ability to lift and carry televisions, equipment, ladders, and installation materials. Ability to work in attics, crawl spaces, construction environments, and outdoor conditions when required. Required Employment Conditions Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check. Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card for work as a security systems technician. Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record.
