Job Description
Pro Home Entertainment is hiring a full-time AV Installation Assistant / Junior Low-Voltage Technician to support residential audio, video, networking, smart-home, and low-voltage installation projects throughout the Phoenix metro area. You will work directly with our senior technicians to prepare job sites, organize equipment and materials, assist with TV, speaker, and AV equipment installations, pull and label low-voltage wiring, assemble equipment racks, test systems, and maintain a clean, professional work environment in customers' homes. This is an entry-level, hands-on role with training and a path to grow into a Junior AV Technician.
Key duties:
Assist with installation of TVs, speakers, audio equipment, networking equipment, smart-home devices, and low-voltage cabling. Pull, label, organize, and test low-voltage wiring under technician supervision. Load, unload, organize, and maintain tools, equipment, inventory, and job-site materials. Help prepare and clean job sites while protecting customer property and finished surfaces. Assist with equipment-rack assembly, equipment mounting, and installation checklists. Work safely on ladders, in attics, crawlspaces, and residential construction environments as needed. Provide professional, respectful customer service in clients' homes. Learn PHE installation standards, AV systems, networking, and smart-home technology.Qualifications:
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Reliable attendance and ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM. Comfortable using hand and power tools and performing physical job-site work. Able to lift and carry AV equipment, tools, and materials. Construction, electrical, networking, AV, low-voltage, HVAC, automotive, or mechanical experience is preferred but not required.
