Job Description

We are seeking an elite-level Lead Systems Integration Engineer to lead luxury residential and commercial automation projects from concept to completion. This is not an entry-level technician role or a basic wire-pulling position. We are looking for a true technical leader who can design systems, program platforms, lead crews, interface with clients and contractors, and deliver exceptional white-glove experiences. You will serve as the face of the company on-site, managing projects from blueprint review through final commissioning and client handoff. The ideal candidate is highly technical, client-facing, solutions-oriented, and capable of operating independently in high-end environments. This role is ideal for someone with deep experience in smart home systems, networking, AV integration, lighting control, theater design, and enterprise-level systems integration. Responsibilities Lead the design, configuration, programming, and deployment of integrated residential and commercial automation systems Program and troubleshoot advanced Control4 and Lutron systems Configure and optimize network environments including Ubiquiti UniFi, Araknis, and Eero platforms Design and calibrate high-end dedicated home theater systems Read blueprints, system schematics, and architectural plans to execute complex projects Manage field technicians and subcontractors while maintaining project timelines and installation quality Coordinate directly with homeowners, high-net-worth clients, builders, architects, designers, and general contractors Perform system commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and final client walkthroughs Identify opportunities to upsell additional technology and automation solutions during client consultations Integrate smart home technologies including lighting, audio/video, surveillance, networking, access control, and automation platforms Support advanced infrastructure integrations including cloud-connected systems, remote management, APIs, and automation workflows Maintain high standards for documentation, organization, professionalism, and customer experience Required Qualifications Expert-level experience with Control4 and Lutron programming Experience with Savant strongly preferred Strong networking knowledge including: Ubiquiti UniFi Araknis Eero VLANs VPNs

Firewall configuration Proven experience leading high-end residential or commercial AV/integration projects Ability to manage crews and coordinate with contractors on active job sites Strong troubleshooting and systems diagnostics abilities Experience with structured cabling, rack builds, AV systems, automation, and distributed audio/video Strong communication and client-facing consulting skills Ability to work independently and make technical decisions in the field Professional toolset and reliable transportation required Truck or van preferred Preferred Technical Experience Systems architecture and enterprise integration REST APIs and third-party integrations Cloud-connected smart systems Virtualization and remote management tools Security and surveillance systems CI/CD or automation workflows Linux and Windows systems administration IoT and microservices environments Ideal Candidate You are: Highly technical and solutions-oriented Comfortable working with luxury clientele Capable of managing both technical execution and customer relationships Organized, professional, and detail-driven Able to lead projects without constant oversight Passionate about smart technology, automation, networking, and high-performance AV systems
