Job Description

Monterey Innovations is seeking a dependable, experienced technician to join our team serving high-end residential and commercial properties throughout Monterey County.

Responsibilities:

Install TVs, speakers, soundbars and home audio systems Install and terminate CAT6 cabling Set up Wi-Fi networks, access points, switches and equipment racks Install security cameras, NVRs, video doorbells and access-control systems Troubleshoot and service existing systems Maintain clean, organized and professional work areas Communicate clearly with clients and team members

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with low-voltage, AV, networking or security systems Comfortable using ladders and working in attics or crawl spaces Familiarity with UniFi, Sonos, Ring, Lutron or similar systems is a plus Basic understanding of network configuration and troubleshooting Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Must be dependable, detail-oriented and respectful inside clients' homes Must provide references and pass a background check

Position Details:

Part-time or project-based, with the opportunity for consistent work Pay based on experience and skill level Work primarily in Monterey, Carmel, Pebble Beach and surrounding areas To apply, send your résumé, relevant experience, availability and desired hourly rate.
