Full Job Description Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain regular and clear communication with the customer, manage expectations, and deliver exceptional customer experience during the service delivery process.
- Ability to service and maintain existing AV systems and cabling infrastructure.
- Flexibility to work on projects after hours or on weekends when needed, along with the occasional out-of-town projects.
- Identify, track, manage, and mitigate system errors/faults.
- Responsible for high-level AV service calls that include proper troubleshooting techniques to discover the core issue and come up with a solid resolution that will bring the system back to 100% operability.
- Ensure projects meet internal and client expectations with respect to quality, scope, delivery timelines, and strategy.
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Assist other technicians with the installation of cable and components.
- Responsible for communicating all aspects of the project to the appropriate project management staff.
- Determine and communicate all customer responsibilities and requirements for the project to be successful.
- On-site role based in Santa Clara County Our Ideal Candidate will possess:
- 4-6 Years of AV experience.
- 2-4 Years of structured cabling infrastructure experience.
- 3-5 Years of customer service experience.
- Ability to understand all aspects of a project's requirements and objectives, including scheduling, construction coordination, contractual, financial, technical, material delivery schedules and scopes of work.
- Ability to manage the change order process from beginning to end as they relate to installation, connectivity and commissioning.
- Ability to read and understand contract scopes, prints, and construction schedules.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-driven and able to maintain a strict time management routine.
- Ability to understand all low-voltage technical issues and coordinate with the proper manufacturer or distributor for technical support channels.
- Ability to generate and maintain project schedules.
- Ability to generate timely, concise, and effective business correspondences.
- Ability to interact with employees, customers, and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Effective time management and attention to detail.
- Experience in Datto Autotask a plus.
Pay:
$30.00 - $45.00 per hourBenefits:
