Overview Join our dynamic team as an AV Equipment Technology Specialist and become a vital part of delivering cutting-edge audiovisual experiences across diverse environments. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing a wide range of AV systems to ensure seamless operation for live events, corporate meetings, and multimedia presentations. Your expertise will empower clients to communicate effectively and engage audiences with high-quality sound, video, and control solutions. Responsibilities Install, configure, and calibrate audiovisual equipment including audio systems, video conferencing systems, control systems, and digital signal processing devices. Troubleshoot and resolve complex AV system issues promptly to minimize downtime during live events or critical meetings. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings related to AV system installation and maintenance. Perform preventative maintenance on AV equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Operate and support live event AV production projects, managing audio mixing, video switching, and control system operation. Implement cabling solutions using hand tools and mechanical knowledge while adhering to electrical codes such as E & I (Electrical & Instrumentation) standards and low voltage requirements. Collaborate with clients and team members to develop customized AV solutions that meet specific needs while providing excellent customer service throughout project execution. Skills Strong understanding of electrical schematic reading, blueprint interpretation, and telecommunication principles. Proficiency in control system programming for AV systems and experience with software troubleshooting. Knowledge of computer networking concepts essential for configuring networked AV devices. Skilled in equipment troubleshooting across audio, video, control systems, and digital signal processing components. Experience working in the AV industry with live event production projects or permanent installation environments. Mechanical aptitude with familiarity using hand tools for cabling, equipment mounting, and system adjustments. Ability to read schematics accurately and interpret electrical schematics related to low voltage wiring and telecommunication infrastructure. Competence in operating video conferencing systems and managing audiovisual control interfaces. Familiarity with implementing audio systems tailored for various environments along with routine maintenance practices. Strong customer service orientation combined with technical expertise to support client needs effectively.
