BEPC is actively looking for Technician in the Temecula, CA area! W2 Contract

•Approximately 12 months with possible extensions! Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance

$32.97

Role:

BEPC is seeking a highly motivated Technician to join our client's site in Temecula, California. This role will support manufacturing operations by diagnosing and repairing assembly-line equipment, performing preventative maintenance, maintaining equipment documentation, supporting engineers, modifying workstations and assembly lines, and assisting with equipment design, development, evaluation, and improvement. The position performs complex technical assignments in a quality-system environment and requires considerable judgment, initiative, creativity, and leadership in troubleshooting and recommending continuous quality improvement methods.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

Respond to assembly-line equipment repair calls by diagnosing equipment problems and performing the necessary repairs. Document equipment qualifications, upgrades made to existing machines, preventative maintenance performed, and parts used to ensure an appropriate repair history in the MP2 maintenance database. Maintain backup equipment and ensure spare parts remain at the required levels to meet manufacturing equipment needs. Assist industrial, manufacturing, and quality engineers with equipment operations. Provide equipment development engineers with feedback regarding equipment issues and suggestions for improving equipment uptime. Assist with constructing worktables, providing necessary utilities, and setting up equipment on manufacturing assembly lines. Modify existing assembly lines or workstations as required to accommodate manufacturing demands. Mentor less-senior employees within the work group and provide counsel. Plan and organize non-routine tasks with approval. Initiate or maintain work schedules. Establish priorities for work assignments. Solve a wide range of complex problems requiring advanced interpretation of generally defined procedures and practices. Select methods and practices to obtain imaginative, thorough, and practical solutions to questions. Understand the organizational structure and positions of key employees. Maintain general knowledge of the products and services associated with the area and the employees involved with specific product lines and services. Perform complex technical assignments, usually without established procedures. Assist in the design, development, evaluation, or modification of area-specific equipment, materials, systems, and products. Determine types of tests or develop preventative maintenance plans when required. Apply judgment, initiative, creativity, and leadership when troubleshooting, suggesting alternatives, and recommending continuous quality improvement methods. Perform responsibilities within a quality-system environment where inadequate task performance may result in noncompliance with governmental regulations.

Qualifications:

Associate degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Minimum of four years of related experience. Extensive knowledge of advanced technical concepts and practices. Complete understanding of product or system fundamentals within a functional area. Working knowledge of other related disciplines. Ability to use and interpret advanced numerical and statistical data. Ability to use computer software programs to present documentation and analysis and resolve complex problems. A license or certification in the relevant area of expertise may be required. About
