In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and operating a wide range of AV systems across various environments, including corporate, educational, and live event settings. Your expertise will ensure seamless audio and video performance, delivering exceptional user experiences and supporting critical communication needs. Responsibilities Install, configure, and troubleshoot audiovisual equipment including video conferencing systems, audio systems, control systems, and digital signal processing devices. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and AV system diagrams to ensure accurate setup and integration. Perform routine maintenance on AV equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Operate and support live event AV production projects, managing audio levels, video feeds, and control system functions. Diagnose technical issues related to AV systems, software troubleshooting, cabling, mechanical components, and electrical wiring using tools such as voltmeters. Implement cabling solutions for low voltage systems in accordance with electrical codes and schematics. Provide field service support by installing AV equipment in various locations and ensuring proper functionality post-installation. Support video conferencing operations by configuring hardware/software components for reliable connectivity. Collaborate with clients to understand their audiovisual needs and deliver tailored solutions that meet project specifications. Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and maintenance activities. Requirements Proven experience working in the AV industry with a strong understanding of audiovisual system installation, operation, and troubleshooting. Knowledge of electrical schematic reading, blueprint interpretation, and control system programming (AV systems). Familiarity with E & I (Electrical & Instrumentation) principles and telecommunication infrastructure. Hands-on experience with equipment troubleshooting across audio systems, video conferencing hardware/software, digital signal processing, and control systems. Ability to read mechanical drawings and schematics related to AV installations. Proficiency in implementing audio systems for various environments including live events or corporate settings. Skilled in using hand tools, testing devices like voltmeters, and mechanical knowledge for installation tasks. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical clients. Experience working on live event AV production projects is highly desirable. Electrical experience including cabling techniques for low voltage systems is essential.
