About the
Role:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Residential Audio Video Installer / AV Technician to join our growing team in Greenwich, CT. This is a hands-on position for an experienced professional who is passionate about home audio video systems , enjoys working with technology, and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer experiences. As an Audio Video Installer (AV Installer / Audio Video Technician / AV Technician) , you'll be responsible for installing, configuring, and servicing high-end residential AV systems. You'll work both independently and as part of a team to ensure seamless and high-quality installations for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Professionally mount and install flat-panel TVs , including wire concealment and bracket installation Terminate and test cables (RG6 coaxial, HDMI, Cat6, speaker wire, etc.) Install, configure, and troubleshoot home networks (EERO, Araknis, UniFi, etc.) Integrate and program audio video components , including Sonos, Apple TV, RTI, and streaming devices Understand HDMI standards, signal limitations, and cable management best practices Route, snake, and manage cabling through walls, ceilings, and attics Perform system testing, diagnostics, and firmware updates Maintain clear, professional communication with clients, team members, and project managers Ensure all work is performed safely, neatly, and to company standards
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of residential experience as an Audio Video Installer, AV Installer, Audio Video Technician, or AV Technician Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Proficiency in home networking, audio video systems, and control systems Must have own hand tools required for AV installation work Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Punctual, detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment Preferred Skills (a plus): Experience with Control4, Crestron, or Savant systems Familiarity with rack building and wire management Basic understanding of low-voltage wiring, power management, and structured cabling
