Possible contract opportunity to begin June 1 - Must pass a background check Job Description and Summary The AV Support Lead is responsible for oversight and delivery of all audiovisual (AV) management services supporting HQ events, conference rooms, and collaboration technologies. This role ensures reliable AV operations, proactive testing, vendor coordination, training, and documentation. Principal Duties and Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day AV support operations
- Support HQ-based events during core business hours
- Proactively test and monitor AV systems to prevent service disruptions
- Serve as escalation point for complex AV incidents and vendor-dependent issues
- Coordinate AV hardware, software, and platform maintenance with third-party vendors
- Identify and recommend AV upgrades and procurement actions
- Develop and maintain AV support procedures, documentation, and user guides
- Provide AV performance metrics, dashboards, and ad-hoc reporting
- Train Service Desk staff and other users on AV equipment and best practices
- Ensure AV support aligns with SLA requirements and operational standards
Qualifications and Skills Mandatory:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT, Multimedia Systems, or related field
- Minimum 4 years of AV support experience, including enterprise conference environments
- Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
- Experience supporting executive-level and enterprise collaboration technologies
- Good written and verbal skills with ability to gather and communicate information accurately
Desired:
- Experience working within federal or regulated environments
- Experience with Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams Rooms, and hybrid event support
- Strong documentation and training development skills
Pay:
$32.69 - $35.09 per hourBenefits:
