A Day in the Life of a Hygienist at Washington Metro Dental On any given day you can expect the following: Arriving 15 minutes before your first patient to be ready to go for the day Working with a driven team of dentists, hygienists, assistants, and administrative professionals Managing the care of patients who prioritize their oral health Working in an office that is passionate about their work Excitedly seeing 7 patients per day Creating a comfortable and welcoming clinical environment for new and returning patients Performing procedures with Cavitrons and Dentrix Diagnosing and educating to align with patient values and barriers to result in treatment acceptance Consistently supporting Doctor-led treatment recommendations for patients Completing auxiliary procedures such as sealants, fluoride treatments, antibiotic applications, night guard scans This role is for you if… You love working in a patient-centric environment You thrive when you are given autonomy to educate your patients You love working with people You can't live without giving and having an amazing experience You absolutely love dentistry!
