  • $60,000 per annum, plus benefits including: health, vision/dental insurance; disability, vacation, sickness, 401K, commuter benefits & employee assistance program Due to further growth, we are looking to recruit a proven Audio Visual / Video Conferencing Fabrication Technician into our team to be responsible for building, populating, wiring, and terminating equipment racks for high end facilities.
The Fabrication Technician will work with the Commissioning Engineering Team to stage, test, troubleshoot, and prep systems for shipping.
Key responsibilities:
Troubleshoot issues and make recommendations to internal parties and customers regarding concerns or issuesEnsure resolution of problems by working closely with assigned projectsEnsure equipment racks are built, connected, and tested according to engineering drawingsRed-line engineering drawings to match fabrication adjustmentsAssist in the quality testing of equipment prior to dispatch to the fieldProvide leadership to junior employees through quality workmanshipLead multiple personnel throughout large-scale fabrication effortsPerform cable dressing inside of racks Skills & experience:

Experienced in the following areas is required: Audio Visual Solutions including Videoconferencing, Multimedia, Distance Learning, Facility coordination or Networking systemsWorking knowledge of DSP devices
  • Clear One / Vortex / Biamp
  • would be desirable but not necessaryWorking knowledge of Control Systems
  • AMX / Crestron
