Job Description

Job Overview We are hiring a Low Voltage Installer to assist with cabling, audio/video installations, security camera setups, and system wiring. This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow in the AV/Low Voltage industry and learn advanced skills. Responsibilities Pull, route, label, and terminate Cat5e/Cat6 and low-voltage cabling Install and configure AV systems, TVs, speakers, cameras, racks, and network equipment. Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and plans. Maintain organized job sites and clean cable management. Knowledge of structured cabling standards and best practices. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely to complete installations and repairs efficiently. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, system configurations, and service reports. Adhere to safety protocols and electrical codes during all phases of installation and service work. Tech-savvy with the ability to configure and troubleshoot AV, camera, and network systems using apps and software platforms. Capable of leading a team on project job sites. Ability to travel frequently. Qualifications 2-5 years experience. Proven experience as a service technician or installer specializing in low voltage systems such as CCTV, control systems, network systems, or AV. Experience with networking/AV. Basic project management experience and ability to lead a team. Valid driver's license; willingness to travel for field service appointments required. Must be able to travel out of state. Must have your own vehicle and tools for work. Construction/Field experience preferred.
Pay:
$27.00 - $35.00 per hour

Are you comfortable reading low-voltage drawings, wiring diagrams, equipment specifications, and installation plans? Please describe your experience. Do you have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation that you can use to travel to job sites throughout South Florida and other locations as needed? This position requires both hands-on low-voltage installation and basic technology troubleshooting/configuration. Which best describes you? A. Primarily a low-voltage installer/wirer B. Limited experience in both What experience do you have installing, configuring, or troubleshooting technology systems such as security cameras, Wi-Fi/networking equipment, TVs, audio systems, AV equipment, or smart-home devices? Please provide specific examples. How comfortable are you troubleshooting basic networking and IP-related issues such as PoE, IP addresses, DHCP, Wi-Fi connectivity, switches, and network-connected devices? Please describe your experience. Are you willing and able to travel out of state for work, including assignments lasting 2-3 weeks at a time?
