Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Electronic Security Technician specializing in CCTV, burglar alarms, and low-voltage electrical systems to join our AV Integrated Company. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of electronic security systems to ensure the safety and security of our clients' properties. Your expertise will help deliver reliable security solutions through precise system design, installation, and service support. Responsibilities Install, configure, and test electronic security systems including CCTV surveillance, burglar alarms, access control, and sound equipment. Troubleshoot and repair system malfunctions using hand tools, power tools, and technical troubleshooting techniques. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, electrical blueprints, and wiring diagrams to accurately install low-voltage electrical wiring and cabling. Conduct routine maintenance checks on security equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with clients to assess site requirements and design tailored security system solutions that meet their needs. Utilize remote access software and network tools to diagnose system issues remotely when applicable. Maintain detailed service records, incident reports, and documentation of all installations and repairs for accountability and future reference. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in electrical security system installation and troubleshooting. Proficiency in computer hardware setup, networking principles, and system design for integrated security solutions. Knowledge of sensors, CCTV cameras, alarm & access control systems. Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, electrical blueprints, and interpret technical documentation accurately. Experience working with low-voltage electrical wiring, cabling techniques, and NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Familiarity with door security system integration, surveillance equipment, and remote access software tools. Skilled in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, wire strippers, power drills, and other essential electrical tools safely. Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients regarding system operation or troubleshooting procedures. Service technician experience in the field service environment is highly preferred for quick adaptation to client needs.
