Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Audio Visual Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining audio-visual systems to ensure seamless operation during events, meetings, and presentations. This role requires a strong technical background in AV systems, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment. The Audio Visual Technician plays a vital role in delivering high-quality audio-visual experiences for our clients and internal teams. Duties Install and set up audio-visual equipment for various events, conferences, and meetings, including cabling and system configuration. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with AV systems promptly to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance. Maintain and service audio systems, video displays, microphones, projectors, and related equipment. Conduct routine inspections of AV equipment to identify potential issues before they impact operations. Collaborate with clients and team members to understand their AV needs and provide technical support accordingly. Manage cabling installations ensuring safety standards are met and equipment is properly connected. Provide on-site technical assistance during live events or presentations to ensure smooth operation of AV systems. Keep detailed records of system configurations, maintenance activities, and repairs for future reference. Requirements Proven experience working in the AV industry with hands-on knowledge of audio systems and AV system installation. Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently. Experience with cabling techniques and best practices for AV setups. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical clients. Knowledge of various AV equipment including microphones, speakers, projectors, video conferencing systems, and control systems. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in system setup and maintenance tasks. Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as required for event support. Pay:
$35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
