- Events and Rentals Duties and Responsibilities
- Support for rental events in Foundation and Museum spaces to include setup, operation, technical support, and teardown of Foundation owned audio-visual, computer, and lighting equipment.
- Provide extremely limited technical support for customer provided equipment during rental events.
- Support information technology for Foundation users
- including but not limited to
- basic hardware, software, convergence issues, and daily operation.
- Maintain rental and audio-visual equipment, clean and safely store hardware, update installed software packages and remove customer provided media once the event has concluded.
- Help to support Museum shows by assisting with necessary repairs including lighting and show hardware maintenance, cleaning of display audio-visual and lighting equipment and computer rooms.
- Aid with daily operation of the National Infantry Museum show and audio-visual experience including startup/shut down and emergency maintenance or repairs.
- Attend informational meetings and training as needed.
- Assist with additional duties as assigned by IT Director. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of various audio-visual equipment types including projectors, amplifiers, microphones, mixers, and media players.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint.
- Ability to logically solve technical problems.
- Time management and accountability.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn new things.
Pay:
$40,000.00- $43,000.
