Position Type:
Project-Based Position Overview We are seeking a Level 1 AV Installer for a commercial audiovisual installation project in Norridge, IL. This is a hands-on position for a technician with experience installing low voltage cabling and AV equipment. Responsibilities Prepare and maintain organized commercial job sites. Pull, route, terminate, and label Cat5/Cat6 cabling . Pull and route audio cabling from equipment racks to speakers and other AV devices. Install and mount TVs, projectors, projection screens, and speakers . Build, dress, and label AV equipment racks. Route and manage cabling according to project requirements. Assist with general AV and low voltage installation activities. Maintain clean and professional workmanship throughout the project. Requirements Previous low voltage or commercial AV installation experience. Experience pulling and terminating Cat5/Cat6 cable. Experience installing TVs, projectors, screens, and speakers. Familiarity with AV racks and cable management. Ability to use standard low voltage hand tools. Must provide standard PPE and required hand tools. Ability to work independently and as part of an installation team. Interview Process Resume review followed by a potential phone or video interview. #tekone
