Installation Technician Kent Audio Visual LLC | Wichita, KS Full-Time | $15 to $23 per hour, based on experience Kent Audio Visual is looking for a full-time Installation Technician to join our Sales & Installation team. This is a hands-on role responsible for installing professional audio, video, and low-voltage systems in commercial environments. We're looking for someone who is dependable, mechanically inclined, communicates well, and takes pride in completing quality work. AV experience is a plus, but we're also interested in candidates with backgrounds in low-voltage, electrical, construction, structured cabling, or other technical trades. What You'll Do Install displays, projectors, speakers, cameras, equipment racks, and other AV equipment Pull, route, terminate, and label low-voltage cabling Install mounts and other system infrastructure Read and follow project drawings and installation plans Assist with system testing and troubleshooting Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites Communicate progress, questions, and issues clearly with project leads Care for company tools, equipment, vehicles, and shared workspaces Support other technical or project needs during peak workload periods as assigned What We're Looking For Dependable and punctual Comfortable working with hand and power tools Able to follow direction and established processes Strong attention to detail Willing to ask questions and communicate when something isn't right Able to work independently and as part of a team Willing to learn new equipment and technology Comfortable working on ladders and lifts and in active construction environments Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Previous commercial AV or low-voltage experience is preferred but not required. Schedule This is a full-time position based in Wichita, Kansas. Most work takes place Monday through Friday between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM, with individual schedules and start times varying based on project needs. Occasional early mornings, evenings, extended days, or travel may be required based on project schedules.
