Join Us as a Pre-K Educational Technician! Acton School Department is looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate, and dedicated Pre-K Educational Technician (I, II, or III) to join our early childhood team! If you believe that the biggest impacts are made in the littlest years, we want you to help us create a vibrant, nurturing, and joyful classroom environment for our youngest learners. What You'll Do As a Pre-K Ed Tech, you will work hand in hand with our lead teachers to bring learning to life. Your days will be filled with:
Fostering Curiosity:
Assisting with engaging classroom activities, arts & crafts, and structured play.
Providing Support:
Offering one-on-one and small group support to help children achieve their early developmental milestones. Creating a
Safe Space:
Helping maintain a warm, inclusive, and organized classroom environment.
Building Connections:
Guiding students in developing crucial social-emotional skills and positive peer interactions. What You Bring to the Table Current Maine Educational Technician Authorization (Ed Tech I, II, or III). Current Maine DOE Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) approval. A genuine passion for early childhood education and a heart for working with young children. A team-player mindset with strong communication skills and a positive attitude. (Experience in a Pre-K or early childhood setting is a huge plus!) Why Acton School Department? $24.83 - $29.91 per hour
