About the r ole Provide leadership, coaching and strategic direction to the Audio Visual Events team Provide formal and informal feedback for development in regular performance conversations Work with leadership, vendors, stakeholders and internal and external clients to identify event requirements, scope and objectives and to provide recommendations for best practices Monitor and track assigned event project progress and proactively handle any issues Review and approve vendor proposals and invoices for payment within budget Administer full lifecycle AV production from concept through revisions and final execution Use technical expertise to assist in creating effective messages or branding initiatives Coordinate with technicians on matters of equipment maintenance for video monitors, cameras, lighting, sound boards, microphones and associated AV items Work with producers and directors on the design, installation and positioning of sets and props About y ou Minimum Qualifications 4 years of experience in a live production environment Thorough knowledge of all audio visual (AV) event production subject matter Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite Proficiency in Keynote Preferred Qualifications 6 years of experience in a live production environment 1 year of experience in leadership Bachelor's degree in audio production, music production, broadcast & digital journalism, broadcast communications or a related field Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs.
