What Will You Be Doing? This position has the overall responsibility of installing, testing, and completing small to large-scale audiovisual systems while demonstrating the utmost professionalism and client satisfaction. Some of the primary job duties of this position include: Completing rack build-up, pulling cable, and preparing equipment for installation. Preparing systems for in-house job staging; making all necessary connections, loading configuration files, etc. Conducting installation of completed racks, projectors, monitors and related sub mounts. Leading testing of system components to assure system completeness and convention. Ensuring each system's physical completeness is in accordance with installation drawings. Performing on-site rack fabrication when required. Maintaining an on-going dialog with AV Foreman and Project Manager; ensuring work quality, performance, and materials meet required schedules and expectations. Maintaining assigned equipment inventory and assigned tools. Travelling to client sites and other NBS offices as required. Do You Have The Experience, Knowledge and Skills We're Looking For? 2+ years of installation or technical service experience preferred. Formal education in electronics or a related field is preferred. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred. Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record. Ability to read and interpret audiovisual system drawings, schematics, construction plans, maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to document system and construction drawing changes and work with design engineers for completion on as-builts drawings. Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment. Assertive, resourceful, and self-motivated; willing to ask questions, take initiative and communicate clearly. Consistently demonstrate a professional demeanor, appearance, and attitude. Pre‐employment testing, including a drug screen and background check, will be required prior to hire. NBS participates in E‐Verify. $26.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
