Position:

(Purpose of the Position): Perform the set up, tear down, and maintenance of St. Olaf Theatre Department's lighting, digital media and audio equipment for theater productions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Hang and Focus Lighting Equipment Set Up and tear down audio and media systems for each production. Perform maintenance on equipment. Transport equipment between theaters on multiple levels.

Physical and Environmental Factors:

This position requires crouching, stooping, kneeling/crawling, twisting/pivoting, climbing/balancing, reaching overhead, grasping/handling, pushing/pulling, lifting objects up to 50 lbs., operating hand tools, and operating equipment or machinery to perform the essential functions. It also requires exposure to loud noise, respiratory factors, proximity hazards, and heights or cramped quarters, as well as rare exposure to chemicals, vibrations, and wet or humid conditions indoors to perform the essential functions. Protective equipment is required to perform some essential functions.
