Overview Join our dynamic team as an Audiovisual Technician and become a vital part of delivering seamless AV solutions for a variety of live events, corporate meetings, and installation projects. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and operating a wide range of audiovisual equipment to ensure flawless performance. Your expertise will help create engaging experiences and support high-quality communication across diverse environments. Duties Install, configure, and troubleshoot AV systems including audio, video, control systems, and digital signal processing equipment. Operate video conferencing systems and manage live AV production projects with precision and professionalism. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams related to AV system installation and maintenance. Perform routine maintenance on AV equipment, including cabling, mechanical components, and software updates to ensure optimal performance. Conduct field service visits for system troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades at client sites or event venues. Implement audio systems and control solutions tailored to client specifications while adhering to safety standards for low voltage electrical systems. Collaborate with clients and team members to deliver outstanding customer service by providing technical support before, during, and after events or installations. Requirements Proven experience working in the AV industry with hands-on knowledge of AV system installation, operation, and troubleshooting. Strong understanding of electrical schematic reading, blueprint interpretation, and control system programming (AV control systems). Proficiency with computer networking concepts related to AV systems integration and software troubleshooting. Skilled in using hand tools and mechanical knowledge for cabling, equipment setup, and maintenance tasks. Familiarity with E & I (Electrical & Instrumentation) principles and low voltage electrical systems. Ability to operate video conferencing systems efficiently in various environments. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly during live events or system failures. Exceptional customer service skills with a professional attitude when working directly with clients or end-users. Pay:
$26.24 - $31.60 per hour
