Job Overview We are seeking Audio Visual (AV) and Video Teleconference (VTC) Service Technicians to support conference room technologies across a large Kansas City campus environment. Technicians will provide meeting support, troubleshoot AV and VTC equipment, assist end users, maintain conference room systems, and help ensure reliable operation of collaboration technologies. We are hiring at multiple experience levels. Candidates with entry-level through senior-level AV/VTC experience are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Depending on experience level, responsibilities may include: Support conference room and meeting space technologies. Initiate and support video teleconference sessions. Create and manage conference bridges and meeting connections. Troubleshoot AV and VTC connectivity issues. Provide meeting startup assistance and user support. Diagnose and repair conference room equipment. Respond to service requests and document work performed. Escalate unresolved issues when necessary. Assist with preventive maintenance and room certifications. Update room documentation, user guides, and system records. Maintain spare equipment inventory and identify replacement needs. Support executive and high-visibility meetings. Assist with system programming and configuration updates as equipment changes occur.
Minimum Qualifications and Skills:
Entry-Level Technicians (Level 1) 0-2 years of
AV, VTC, IT
support, or related technical experience. Familiarity with conference room technologies and video conferencing platforms. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to learn new technologies and work independently. Senior-Level Technicians (Level 3) 5+ years of Federal hands-on AV, VTC, or technical services experience. Experience troubleshooting and maintaining complex AV systems. Familiarity with technologies such as Cisco, Crestron, Extron, Biamp, QSC, SVSI, or similar platforms. One or more current manufacturer certifications. Experience supporting mission-critical or highly visible meeting environments is desirable. Required Skills AV equipment troubleshooting Video conferencing support Technical problem solving Customer service Documentation and ticket management Professional communication Team collaboration Experience supporting Cisco video conferencing environments (preferred) Experience with conference room control systems (preferred) Knowledge of AV signal flow and room integration (preferred) Experience in regulated or secure environments (preferred) Security Requirements Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a DOE "Q" (equivalent to Top Secret) clearance eligibility throughout contract performance. Task Order - assigned embedded technicians must also obtain Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) certification to access the
KCNSC SCIF.
Must pass Company FM&T's Access Suitability Screening prior to submission for a "Q" clearance; will be processed for a UPIV or Acces Authorization for long-term badging and computer access. Uncleared personnel will be escorted by Company FM&T until access is granted. Must be trained on TEMPEST red/black separation requirements and follow

technical security order. U.S. Citizenship required.
