Job Description The Stage Technician provides comprehensive technical support to guest artists and event organizers, ensuring seamless execution of live performances and events. This role requires expertise in theatrical and concert technical operations, with a focus on safety, quality, and exceptional service delivery.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive technical support services to guest artists, including load-in and load-out coordination, real-time stage support during live performances, follow-spot operation, event setup and breakdown, and equipment maintenance support Collaborate with convention services to facilitate efficient room turnarounds and transitions between events Provide property-wide technical support as required to maintain operational excellence Maintain strict adherence to all safety procedures and specifications to ensure a secure environment for staff, artists, and attendees Demonstrate proficiency in theatrical and concert technical disciplines, including the configuration and operation of staging, lighting, and audio systems Execute physical responsibilities with precision, including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling loads of 75 to 100 pounds, as well as walking, standing, climbing, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, grasping, and crawling as required Accommodate varied shift schedules to support scheduled events and organizational needs Maintain exceptional customer service standards when interacting with artists, staff, and event attendees Qualifications •
Required Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated proficiency in theatrical and concert technical disciplines, including the setup and operation of staging, lighting, and audio systems Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull loads of 75 to 100 pounds regularly Physical capability to perform essential job functions, including walking, standing, climbing, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, grasping, and crawling as required Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with artists, staff, and event attendees Flexibility to accommodate varied shift schedules to support scheduled events and organizational needs Commitment to obtaining and maintaining all necessary certifications and licenses relevant to the position •
Preferred Qualifications:
