Physical Demands:

Requires prolonged sitting, walking, some bending, stooping, stretching, standing, and lifting to 50 pounds occasionally. Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient for keyboarding and departmental equipment. Requires normal and/or correctable range of hearing and vision. 2.

Work Conditions:

Includes office and event environments, involving contact with staff and the public. Regular schedule is 100% event driven (can require irregular hours and changes to schedule due to deadlines and frequent interruptions) due to events. 3. Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA) Previous work in Audio Visual and/or combination/applicable of education and experience in technology; sound reinforcement; stage lighting; closed circuit TV systems/designs/methods; event production including sound/lighting is required. Possess good communication skills (including the ability to read, write and speak clearly/consistently in English), ability to work well with people, ability to function in a busy environment with multiple interruptions, orientation to detail, computer literacy and proficiency with technology, social media, and MS Office Suite (including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel) a must. A valid state issued motor vehicle license is required. Preferred KSAs include expertise with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. 4. Duties and Responsibilities A/V Operations o Operates the Daktronics V7000 Show Control System or other sound and visual equipment during events and resolves technical issues when they arise. 5. Helps train other staff or volunteers as needed. 6. Forms effective working relationships & rapport with customers and staff. 7. Secures work area before departing each event.
