Audio Visual Installation Technician Karcher Group Incorporated (located in Jacksonville, NC) is looking for an Installation Technician to join its growing team. It is preferred that interested individuals possess the following: Clean driving record Clean background check and drug test Strong ability to read maps and follow directions Ability to load and unload trucks and deliver parts Desire to develop a technical knowledge of Audio Visual equipment Low Voltage cabling experience Knowledge working with hand tools, ladders and construction Knowledge of electrical high and low voltage Knowledge of drywall patching, sanding, and painting

Duties and Responsibilities:

Support the installation technician staff with onsite audio visual equipment installations for government and commercial clients. This will include, but not be limited to: parts deliveries and maintaining delivery records, pulling parts as needed and loading delivery trucks, assisting with equipment rack set up, performing cable pull paths, crimping and terminating cables, installation of plasmas/LCDs, projectors and projection systems, VTC systems, audio hardware and speakers, and control systems. Travel to off site locations is required; up to 50%. Maintain a professional work appearance and excellent customer interaction. Training will be provided and encouraged.
