Job Description

Dasher's Designs is looking for a seasonal outdoor Christmas lighting installer who is comfortable on roofs and ladders to play an integral role in the success of our daily operations during the holiday season. This position is labor intensive and will be working outdoors most of the time. If you love Christmas and love control over your earning potential this could be a great opportunity. Please note, comfort with heights, roofs, and ladders is a key part of the job.
Holiday Lighting:
Install and remove Holiday lights and Christmas décor on residential, Neighborhood, and commercial properties. Maneuver roofs in a safe and affective way while installing holiday decor. Climb ladders to install lights on roof-lines and in trees. Wrap small and large trees with holiday lights. Install wreaths and garland. Troubleshoot and problem solve installation issues on-site as necessary often with creative solutions. Interact with all lighting customers on an as needed basis. All other duties as assigned. Skills/abilities/Work experience/
Education:
The ideal candidate: Can follow directions and pre-job instructions. Can manage your own time well. Can work independently or in a team. Can work at a very fast pace during the busy season. Has excellent communication skills. Ability to operate a boom lift is preferred but not required. Able to travel regionally as needed. Can work between 40 - 55 hours a week, as necessary. Part time positions also available Has a valid driver's license and is insurable. High school education is preferred but not required. Prior electrical experience is preferred but not required.

Seasonal Pay:
This position pays either by the hour or will pay by the job. Hourly employees will make $18+ an hour plus OT and will be a part of a team. Our production pay employees will work more independently and make between $25 - $40 an hour with a real earning potential of $35 + an hour for those who love to work hard and feel comfortable on roofs.
Pay:
$18.00 - $45.00 per hour Expected hours: 45.0 per week
