Job Description
Sandhills Home Theater is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Control4 Programmer / AV Installation Technician to join our team. We specialize in high-end residential and commercial technology , providing state-of-the-art audio, video, networking, lighting control, motorized shades, security, and home automation throughout Moore County and the surrounding areas. Control4 programming experience is required. We are looking for someone who understands how these systems work together and enjoys programming, troubleshooting, and creating a seamless technology experience for our clients. What You'll Do Program and configure Control4 systems Integrate audio/video, networking, lighting, shades, security, and home automation Troubleshoot Control4, AV, and network systems Install and configure TVs, speakers, amplifiers, receivers, networking equipment, and automation components Assist with prewiring and technology installations as needed Commission and fine-tune completed systems Work with our installation team to ensure systems are installed and programmed correctly Communicate professionally with clients, builders, designers, and team members Provide excellent customer service throughout the project What We're Looking For Control4 programming experience is required. The ideal candidate will also have experience with residential or commercial AV, networking, and home automation. We're looking for someone who: Has hands-on Control4 programming experience Enjoys programming, troubleshooting, and solving technical problems Has a strong understanding of networking and AV systems Takes pride in quality work and attention to detail Is dependable, motivated, and able to work independently Enjoys learning about new technology Communicates clearly and professionally Has a customer-first mindset Is comfortable working in high-end residential and commercial environments This is more than an installation position. We are looking for someone who can take a system from installation through programming, troubleshooting, integration, and final commissioning.
