Job Description
Growing A/V Security Systems Integrator based in Mt. Laurel, NJ is looking to grow our workforce. We are hiring for multiple Technician positions which includes installation and service work. Firm has been in business for over 45 years and primarily serves clients in NJ, Southeastern PA, Delaware, and the surrounding areas. Some travel may be required in the future for clients located outside the Tri-State area. Company is focused on Commercial Clients. Types of systems installed include, but are not limited to:
- Audio, Video and Control Systems
- Data/Voice/Fiber
- Electronic Access Control
- Fire Alarms
- Intrusion Detection Systems
- Mass Communication Systems
Video Surveillance Job Description:
The Installer and Technician will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, programming, end user training and ongoing support of the systems installed. Industry experience is required, we will provide training.Responsibilities may include:
- Interprets instructions, sketches, blueprints and wiring schematics
- Installation of A/V and Security Equipment
- Installation of Cabling and Supports to Code
- Programming and Configuration of Systems (Based on skill level)
- Troubleshooting of low voltage and network based systems The ideal candidate poses the following qualities:
- Positive Attitude
- Self-Starter
- Willingness to learn and stay current on industry trends and technologies
Qualifications:
- Driver's License (Required)
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
- Ability to work with hand and power tools
- Ability to lift equipment and cable individually and as a team
- Industry Experience or Training (Required)
Schedule:
- Standard Workday 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday Through Friday
- Opportunity to work overtime as needed to meet project deadlines
