Job Description

The Role The Used Gear Specialist is the last line of defense between a piece of equipment and a buyer who's counting on it to work. You'll test, catalog, and organize pre-owned professional audio, video, lighting, and broadcast gear, making sure every unit that goes out the door is fully functional, accurately listed, and easy to find. You'll work hands-on with gear that touring crews, venues, and production companies depend on everyday, and you'll know it inside and out before it ever reaches them. Key Responsibilities:
Test and verify functionality of incoming used AV equipment (audio consoles, video switchers, microphones, lighting fixtures, and more) Identify issues and flag equipment that needs repair before it ever reaches a listing Catalog gear with accurate descriptions, specs, serial numbers, and condition notes for inventory and online listings Photograph gear for listings and documentation Organize and maintain used gear inventory and storage area so anything can be found quickly Assist with packaging and preparing gear for shipment when sold Occasionally lend a hand with broader warehouse needs (loading trucks, prepping gear for events, keeping the space running clean)
Qualifications:
Previous experience working with professional AV gear (audio, video, lighting, and broadcast) Strong technical troubleshooting skills and attention to detail Familiarity with a variety of professional AVL gear brands such as Yamaha, Shure, Panasonic, ARRI, Blackmagic, ETC, etc. Ability to lift and move gear safely Proficient with basic computer tasks for inventory entry and labeling Self-motivated, organized, and reliable
Preferred Qualifications:

Pay:
$55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
