Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Media Pro Installations - Low Voltage / AV Installation Technician and become a vital part of delivering cutting-edge audiovisual and low voltage solutions! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining a wide range of AV systems, control systems, and low voltage infrastructure across various commercial and live event environments. Your expertise will help create seamless audio-visual experiences that impress clients and elevate their spaces. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects, develop your technical skills, and contribute to the success of high-profile installations. Duties Install audiovisual systems, including video conferencing setups, audio equipment, and control systems, following detailed blueprints and schematics. Perform wiring, cabling, and mechanical assembly using hand tools and electrical testing devices such as voltmeters. Read electrical schematics and blueprints to accurately interpret system layouts and installation requirements. Troubleshoot AV equipment, digital signal processing issues, software glitches, and network connectivity problems efficiently to minimize downtime. Conduct system testing, calibration, and commissioning to ensure optimal performance of installed AV solutions. Provide on-site field service support for maintenance, upgrades, and repairs of low voltage systems in diverse environments. Collaborate with clients and team members to ensure project specifications are met while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Skills Strong knowledge of electrical systems including E & I (Electrical & Instrumentation) fundamentals and low voltage wiring practices. Proficiency in computer networking concepts relevant to AV systems operation and troubleshooting. Experience with control system programming for audiovisual setups using industry-standard platforms. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams accurately. Skilled in installing and troubleshooting video conferencing systems, audio systems, and digital signal processing equipment. Familiarity with telecommunication infrastructure and electrical experience necessary for complex installations. Mechanical aptitude with experience working with hand tools, cabling techniques, and mechanical assembly processes. Join us in creating immersive audiovisual environments! Pay:
