This pivotal role combines technical expertise with vibrant public engagement, creating memorable experiences for our guests and clients. As the AV maestro, you will oversee the setup, operation, and maintenance of all event audio-visual equipment, while also inspiring teams and interacting confidently with diverse audiences. Your passion for music, sound, lighting, and technology will elevate every event to a new level of excellence. Responsibilities Lead the planning and execution of all AV aspects for events, including sound, lighting, video projection, and staging. Coordinate with clients and event organizers to understand their AV needs and deliver tailored solutions. Conduct regular maintenance and technical checks on all AV equipment to ensure reliability and safety. Oversee the training and supervision of AV team members to maintain high standards of service delivery. Assist with heavy lifting and physical setup of large audio-visual components as needed. Collaborate with on-site sales and banquet teams to secure contracts and ensure seamless integration of AV services into overall event planning. Requirements Degree/diploma in Audio Visual Technology, Event Production, or related field or equivalent experience Minimum 3-5 years of experience in AV experience in hotels, resorts, or large-scale event venues. Strong background in customer service, sales, and presentation skills. Technical proficiency in operating event audio-visual equipment including microphones, speakers, mixers, projectors, lighting rigs, and live sound systems. Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, hotel staff, and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling large or bulky AV gear. Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail under pressure. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.
Pay:
From $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 50.0 per week
