Job Description

The AV Infrastructure Technician will work on install projects installing cabling, rigging, and hardware needed for the install job. You will be working with 1-3 other Infrastructure Techs under our Install director, with daily supervision from the Lead Infrastructure Tech for that project. This is a hands on position and you will be in the field working with the team completing the install. You will be responsible for ensuring the job is completed safely and ensuring IS company standards met. You must have a background and up to date experience in low voltage cabling infrastructure as well as a thorough understanding of different cable types, methods of pulling, and managing cable runs to code. Experience working with unistrut, hanging lighting pipes, speakers, some rigging experience preferred. Scope of Responsibilities
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, Rack construction and cable management, conduit installation, pulling cable and preparing equipment for installation. Must be able to read blueprints, cable diagrams, and layouts and ensure accuracy in execution.
- Setup, installation, and testing of system components and lines to assure system completeness, diagnose and repair issues that may arise. Interact with customer onsite in a professional manner and ensure a clean work environment at all times.
- Follow company approved installation methods, sop's, and techniques.
- Maintain an on-going dialog with Lead System Integrators and Install Director ensuring that work quality, performance and materials meet required schedules and expectations.
- Tracking daily activities, project updates, and time though company approved methods updating in a timely manner.
- Comply with all aspects of operating procedures, and all other policies & directives.
- Handles other duties relative to the job as assigned by management.

- -Ability to identify needs for the job, ensure you have all the materials needed, and be able to complete the project from assignment to completion.
- Maintain a sense of urgency for job completion and meeting deadlines while maintaining consistency and quality of work.

- Trained eye for detail and pride in quality installation.
- Adhere to company team member values.
- Able to pass a background check and drug test.
- Able to safely lift equipment weighing as much as 80 lbs. regularly, Maintain safety of job site, team, and complies with all safety and building regulations.
- Able to work comfortably on ladders, scissor and boom lifts and in high places as well as in tight conditions such as found in crawl spaces, attics, equipment closets, and cabinets.
- Must have significant experience installing cabling for audio-visual equipment, teleconferencing, network systems, camera systems, corporate video, and related systems.
- preferred experience as a electrician, mechanic, carpenter, or HVAC tech.
- Must maintain a valid driver's license with clean driving record.
