In this role, you will be the driving force behind the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of complex AV systems across a variety of corporate, and institutional environments. Your expertise will ensure seamless operation of audio, video, conferencing, control systems, and networked equipment, delivering exceptional audiovisual performance that exceeds client expectations. Responsibilities Lead the installation and commissioning of audiovisual systems including audio, video, conferencing, control, and networking components in accordance with blueprints and schematics. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues related to digital signal processing, control system programming, and hardware failures swiftly to minimize downtime. Operate and maintain video conferencing systems, ensuring optimal performance for remote meetings and live events. Read electrical schematics and blueprints accurately to guide system setup, modifications, and troubleshooting efforts. Conduct field service visits for system repairs, upgrades, and preventative maintenance across multiple sites. Implement cabling solutions using hand tools while adhering to safety standards for low voltage electrical systems. Collaborate with clients and team members to design AV system layouts that meet project specifications while providing exceptional customer service. Utilize testing tools such as voltmeters and network analyzers to diagnose issues within complex AV setups. Program and operate audiovisual control systems for live events or installed environments to ensure smooth operation during critical moments. Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and service records for ongoing support and future upgrades. Experience Proven experience working in the AV industry with a strong background in AV system installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Hands-on experience with low voltage wiring techniques, and electrical schematic reading. Knowledge of computer networking principles as they relate to AV systems integration including IP-based control protocols. Skilled in control system programming for audiovisual equipment using industry-standard platforms. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot software issues related to AV hardware or control systems efficiently. Experience managing live event AV production projects from setup through execution with attention to detail under pressure. Mechanical aptitude with familiarity in cabling practices, mechanical assembly, and use of hand tools required for installation tasks. Familiarity with digital signal processing concepts and implementing audio systems tailored for various environments. Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members alike.
