Job Summary:
Trail Drive Management Corp (TDMC) is looking for a Technical Services Crew for the Will Rogers Memorial Center (WRMC). This position will provide technical support to Will Rogers, its guests, and clients as a member of the Technical Services Department through operation and execution of show requirements. Employees will be asked to operate as a team in a variety of roles, including event set-up and tear down, audio mixing, audio support, lighting control, utility and backup roles. This position will work 100% on-site.
Essential Job Functions:
Maintaining the Front of House audio components including the audio console, routing equipment, amplifiers, and cabinets Inventory and maintenance of the small portable audio systems Maintaining the lighting console and broadcast lighting system Set up the front of house audio boards with the audio engineer, ensure routing of all signals and confirm clear and proper playout of pre-produced files and elements; during show ensure execution of cues and commands from the Show Caller. Assist Audio with setup of all audio setup, patching and routing needs; assist technical staff with use of ClearCom and Riedel communication systems. Assist Audio and Engineer with zoning and routing of Dante audio to main arena, call barns, and auxiliary spaces. Repair theatrical lighting (spotlights & moving head lights), replacing bulbs, servicing fans, etc. Assist all technical services staff with set-up and execution of event, operate Carousel software for control of TVs, assist with broadcast truck patching, cable pathways and troubleshooting. Assist Technical Services Manager with loading and executing Carousel content and LED board Content, respond to radio calls and requests for service needs as they relate to the Technical Services Department. Work with shows and outside groups for access to video and TV displays; when requested, assist Broadcast Engineers with cable pathways and broadcast truck connections. Repair or replace damaged IPTV infrastructure or displays Repair or replace damaged video board tiles and components Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age. Basic knowledge of DMX programming and signal flow; experience with Art-Net or sACN preferred Understanding of network cabling standards and construction or terminating cables Knowledge of network-connected audio systems, MADI, Dante, AVB Basic knowledge of live music engineering and setup Basic knowledge of audio signal flow, gain structure and management Ability to work a flexible schedule including - nights, weekends, and holidays. Able to communicate effectively with management, guests, and team members. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Working Conditions:
Employees will work in an environment with fluctuating temperatures. Employees must have the ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. As business, maintenance, operations, or emergencies require, employees may sporadically assist in lift/move 100 lbs. or more. Employees will regularly work around animals typically found in a fair/4H/FFA environment (horses, cattle, pigs, sheep, dogs, etc.). Employees may spend some of their day working on a computer and other office devices. Employees may regularly spend their shift standing/walking, traveling stairs, with limited to no sitting. Employees will be exposed to high noise levels and/or fluctuating lights in event settings. Employees must have the ability to reach, lift, and bend to perform job duties throughout the shift. Employees will be exposed to hazardous chemicals, electrical shock risks, and vibrations throughout the shift. Employees may be exposed to hazards associated with moving vehicles and require strict adherence to safety protocols.
