In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of television and AV systems across various settings. Your expertise will ensure seamless operation of audiovisual equipment, delivering exceptional service for live events, corporate environments, and residential installations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology while providing top-tier customer support and technical solutions. Responsibilities Install, configure, and calibrate television systems, AV equipment, and control systems in diverse environments. Troubleshoot and repair audiovisual hardware and software issues promptly to minimize downtime. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams related to AV system installations. Operate and maintain video conferencing systems, digital signal processing equipment, and audio systems for optimal performance. Conduct routine maintenance on AV equipment including cabling, mechanical components, and electrical connections using hand tools and testing devices such as voltmeters. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, provide technical support during live events or system setup, and ensure customer satisfaction. Document system configurations, troubleshooting steps, and maintenance activities accurately for future reference. Qualifications Proven experience working in the AV industry with a strong background in AV system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Knowledge of electrical systems including low voltage wiring, control system programming (AV control systems), and electrical schematic reading. Familiarity with computer networking principles, software troubleshooting, and computer hardware integration within AV setups. Skills in implementing audio systems, video conferencing solutions, digital signal processing, and audiovisual control operation. Ability to read blueprints and schematics related to AV system design and installation projects. Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand tools for cabling and equipment assembly. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical clients.
