Description:

Audio Visual Technician for installation, termination, and testing of various types of audio visual cable and hardware.

Requirements:

Technical Expertise:

Demonstrate a strong understanding of audio and visual equipment, principles, and applications. Possess in-depth knowledge of various audio and video equipment, including microphones, sound speakers, video screens, projectors, video monitors, recording equipment, video cameras, connecting wires and cables, sound and mixing boards. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to audio and visual equipment

Equipment Operation:

Set up, install, and operate audio-visual equipment for various events, including meetings, presentations, media events, and virtual events. Operate audio-visual equipment seamlessly to ensure high-quality audio and visual output. Adjust equipment settings and configurations to meet specific event requirements.

Additional Responsibilities:

Assist in installing new audio-visual equipment and implementing system upgrades. Conduct quality checks on audio-visual equipment to ensure proper functioning. Provide technical support and assistance to users of audio-visual equipment. Maintain and repair audio-visual equipment as needed. Ability to travel throughout the Panhandle and surrounding areas. Other related duties as assigned related to AV installation

Qualifications:

Be able to regularly climb and work from ladders up to heights of 35 feet; lifting equipment, tools and materials and loading and unloading equipment weighing a minimum of 75 pounds.
