Conference Center Staging Attendant ABM Industries - 3.1 Plano, TX Job Details Full-time $17.50 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits On-the-job training Qualifications Event customer service Full Job Description The Conference Center Tech is responsible for all technical operations and support within the conference center. This role ensures the seamless setup, operation, and troubleshooting of IT, and facility systems for meetings and events. The Conference Center Tech serves as the team player and hands-on support to deliver outstanding service and operational excellence. Execute the setup, operation, and breakdown for meetings and events. Serve as the main technical resource and on-site expert for clients, presenters, and internal stakeholders. Ensure all setups meet safety, accessibility, and quality standards. Document procedures, event setups, and incident reports accurately and promptly. Able to read, understand and write set-ups. Able to lift and carry equipment, chairs, tables, ect. Uphold a high standard of customer service, professionalism, and responsiveness at all times. Proven experience in conference center, hospitality, or event technology support. Strong technical proficiency with AV systems (projectors, microphones, soundboards), video conferencing platforms, and basic IT troubleshooting. Professional appearance and demeanor; strong client service orientation. Physical ability to lift equipment and perform setups. Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, or weekends as required. Report to work on scheduled days Follow up with Lead for assignments
Required:
Must be 18 years of age or older No experience required and on the job training provided No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
