The position partners closely with IT, Facilities, business teams, and external vendors to deliver practical AV solutions, support meetings and executive events, maintain accurate system documentation, and identify opportunities to improve service, quality, and the end-user experience.

Richardson, Texas job type: Contract salary: $16 - 21 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: No Degree Required responsibilities: Design and implement AV systems based on business requirementsInstall and configure audio-visual equipment including microphones, speakers, video displays and digital signage playersConduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure AV systems are functioning properlyCollaborate with other team members and departments to deliver integrated AV solutionsProvide technical support and training to end-users of AV systemsUpdate and maintain detailed documentation for AV systems and installationsStay updated with the latest AV technologies and industry trendsConduct system testing and performance evaluations to identify areas for improvementManage inventory and order new AV equipment as neededAssist in the setup and management of live events and presentationsEnsure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in AV system installations qualifications: Strong understanding of Microsoft Teams Rooms and AV integration Knowledge of AV control systems (e.g., Crestron, MAXHUB) Knowledge of digital signage systems (e.g., OptiSigns, MOOD Media) Knowledge of network and IT infrastructure as it relates to AV systems Previous experience in a similar role within the corporate sector Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously High school diploma or equivalent; technical school education is a plus Minimum 2 years of experience in audio-visual system installation and maintenance Proficient in the use of AV equipment and tools Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings when necessary skills: AV solutions,system documentation,end-user experience,visual technology,effective communication,AV systems,business continuity,digital signage,live events,installing
